missingWrote a review on Dec 07helpful staffsmall roomunpleasant smell
The staff provided excellent recommendations for local attractions.
Our room was disappointingly small and had a persistent smell from the plumbing that made our stay uncomfortable. we had to open the windows constantly. Additionally, we encountered gnat-like bugs in our bathroom, which detracted from the otherwise luxurious feel of the riad. While the food for dinner was good, the ambiance felt lacking, sitting in a brightly lit room off the lobby without any music.

A few things you should know
The room's decor was cozy yet modern, offering a delightful ambiance. Breakfast on the terrace featured fresh, homemade meals, which we thoroughly enjoyed.
Despite the charm, the shower water fluctuated in temperature, making it less enjoyable. Also, the shared spaces felt slightly cramped during busy hours.

Staying at Riad Lyon-Mogador was a delightful experience. The rooftop terrace blew me away with its breathtaking views, especially during sunrise. Breakfasts were diverse and delicious, featuring fresh fruits and pastries along with eggs, a nice surprise for a riad. The room was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean, with large windows allowing plenty of natural light. The staff, especially Mohamed, provided exceptional service and great local recommendations! However, the water temperature in the shower was inconsistent, fluctuating from too hot to too cold. I also found the room slightly cramped, especially for a longer stay. Despite this, the charm of the riad and the attentiveness of the staff truly made the experience enjoyable.

Just a well-suited match for a weekend breather in Essaouira with value for money. The rooftop deck was a great spot for relaxing, especially during sunset. Consider bringing earplugs for added comfort against the neighborhood noises.

Staying at this beautiful riad provided a delightful experience, highlighted by the stunning breakfast spread featuring fresh jam and pastries enjoyed on the terrace with picturesque views. Both the room and the welcoming atmosphere created by the gracious staff added to the charm. However, the inconsistent water temperature in the shower was a drawback, and the shared areas felt crowded during busy hours. Overall, a relaxing stay with memorable moments, despite a few minor issues.
